324 Storefront

We moved to 324 St Johns Ave in April of 1991.  In the space to the right of us was Ruby's Computer Place and a short time later a PVC furniture store.  When they left we took over that space as well.  We were there until May of 1998

Thru a downtown redevelopment grant we were able to get awnings and dress up the front of the store.

With both spaces we now had about 2600 sq ft and our mdse selection grew accordingly.  We have always tried to support worth while causes and this fountain below was to help raise money for the "Make a Wish Foundation".  We collected several hundred dollars thanks to your support

This is actually the four Princess Di Beanies that were given away

In 1997 "The Beanie Craze" hit Palatka.  We were fortunate enough to have been an established TY dealer and had the only Beanie outlet in Putnam County.  When the Princess Di Bear was released it was the most coveted piece in the line.  To raise money for the Rodeheaver's Boys Ranch we sold tickets for a $1 each and gave away 4 of the first 12 we received.  A little over $1500 was raised for the Boys Ranch  plus 4 very happy winners

In the Spring of 1998 Sandy from the Smart Shop asked Linda if she would be interested in taking over her lease on the space at 401 St Johns Ave.

We talked it over with Mrs Erma Davis Goodwin, the building owner, and agreed to move.  In late April of 1998 we started remodeling and moved into 401 St Johns Ave in May.
